| The Tsim
Sha Tsui promenade, which runs from the Star Ferry to Hung Hom,
has recently undergone a beautification programme. The scheme
included the replacement of the existing flood lighting with include
colour changing pole mounted fixtures. The
overall control of the lighting has been provided by Strand
Lighting. At a late stage it was decided that the promenade,
as a major viewing location for A
Symphony of Lights, should be incorporated into the show.
Ptarmigan designed and supplied the
control hardware to allow the lighting to be integrated into
A Symphony of Lights. The lighting, controlled from two
independent control locations, was programmed remotely via the
internet, and now synchronises with the other 30 buildings participating
in the Guinness World Record spectacular. |
